The Crescent House is currently
the Garden Center of Valdosta

The Crescent is a landmark home built in 1898
by Col. William S West

Three ladies in the garden club saved the house from being
demolished in 1951. It then became the home of all
Garden Clubs in Valdosta

The house is named for its semicircular portico
supported by 13 massive columns.
Each column represents the 13 original colonies.
