Sea World Adventure Camp...

Do you know what 3 organs a dolphin uses when diving? How about how deep a dolphin can dive? Can you describe what a dolphin, bat ray, shark, or sea cucumber feel like? Have you ever dissected squid?

These are just a few of the things 23 CJSF students learned while attending San Diego Sea World's two day Adventure Camp this week. The camp activities are aligned with state science standards and enables real-world applications of these standards.

The camp was a two day resident camp. We stayed in dorms at Sea World. The counselors were fabulous with the students and very knowledgeable. The students will not soon forget this camp.

I attended the first concert back in 2006. It was a fabulous concert at the Mint in La. They performed every piece from the S2 soundtrack that could be performed by a small group. Multiple videos were show for the pieces that required a larger group to perform. After the concert the entire band stayed and signed CD's and posters for the BSG S2 soundtrack.

I look forward to attending this concert as well. James Callis hosting the event is just a nice bonus. But the truth is for me this night is all about the music and not what actor shows up at the event.

Anyone interested in purchasing tickets for this event can go to ticketmaster and order online. But don't wait to long I'm sure this concert will sell out well before the event.
